Hey Everyone,
So as some of you may know I've got my own YouTube channel and I'm looking for someone to help contribute to my banner by drawing a cartoon picture of me. I have gathered some examples which can be found below; of some YouTubers you may recognise- and how I would like my very own picture to look like. My picture doesn't have to be identical but I would like the same style of character; cute, quirky and unique.
I can't really talk much about it at the moment but I have been talking to a few companies who expand my social networking and manage my YouTube thingymabobs such as my PO Box, contact email etc. And as of the 25th of September I will officially be contracted (yay!). Thereforeee I would like YOU to be a part of my progression in the YouTube community by helping me make my channel look the best it can possible be!
Unfortunately I do not have the sufficient funds right now to express any payments; however I will give a mention in my next video to whoever makes the best suited avatar of me; and I will stress for my viewing audience to check out your portfolio which will be available not only on-screen, but also in the description to my video.
If you're interested and you are a graphic designer/illustrator (or you have a lot of experience) and you'd like a shot at this, here are some credentials:
- The Image MUST be of a high quality. Although I will be shrinking it down (most likely) to fit in the places I will need it (Banners, DPs etc), it must be of a high resolution to do so.
-The Image MUST look like me and be identifiable. I have a few interesting perks which people recognise me by; my glasses, my hair, my body size- these all need to be clearly identifiable and recognisable in your drawing.
- The Image MUST be a full length photo not just my head and shoulders.
- The Image MUST look suitable in relation to my channel: I'd like to think that I'm quite entertaining; and there are a lot of traits in my personality that I wish to be exemplified in my banner; eg. I'd like to think I'm quite funny so if you could draw me laughing that's a bonus!
- The Image MUST be saved onto an empty background (delete everything around the character) for editing purposes.

I will be closing this thread at the end of next week (Sunday 22nd of September) so be sure to post your images by then)
