If you use your fishing rod and then switch to another item before the fishing rod hits the player it will not do any damage to the fishing rod this is used in PvP when u use the rod quickly change to sword and then hit the enemy, no damage will be done to the fishing rod, hope this helped leave a like if it did ;)

This creates and somewhat ''infinite'' fishing rod trick. This is a bug/glitch and I don't think that you should use it. Exploiting bugs/glitches can resort in a ban on the MCSG network. But I am not too sure though.... don' t use it just to be safe ;).

On a side note, please use the 'edit' button rather than repeatedly posting.

No offense, but I do not believe people really care about an "infinite" fishing pole. I believe the reason use the fishing pole is because when you knock a person back with the pole, they get backwards momentum which results in a shorter reach. Also, since the person with the pole is charging at the victim, they get half a block distance longer reach since they are running forward. Have you ever wondered why you always get hit running backward, but you can't hit the other person? This is the reason. The fishing pole allows for extra hits on the victim which means quicker deaths and more damage dealing. I doubt anyone uses it for longevity haha

People care about having an infinite fishing rod for all the things you just said...

The fishing pole already has an absurd amount of charges as is. You can't possibly need more than 2 fishing poles a match.
