Where can I find a detailed outline on how the bounty system works?

Idk but I can tell you in detail what it is. Bounties are rewards you put on players head if the player gets killed by someone the killer gets the points. If the players is killed my mobs or falling your bounty is returned you. If the player wins the game THEY get your points. Also the bounty you place MUST be a minimum of 10

Ok, another question: I was in a game, down to the last six, and it said I had placed a bounty on a player for about 40 points. I was a bit confused, but disregarded it. Five minutes later, same thing, different player. Both were in game playing. What was that all about?

It tells you whenever anyone places a bounty, that means someone else placed it.

Not really, to spice up the game for someone I guess. Points don't really matter though, wins do.
