Why does it matter if he lives in New Zealand? Are you unable to purchase this there?

I'm trying to say that New Zealand prices are alot more expensive than US prices. That laptop goes for roughly 1600 new so that's like 2000 in NZ dollars.

Were the other laptops he was looking at any cheaper? US dollars or not, it's still a good laptop for the price, unless the ones he was looking at are literally made in New Zealand.
