I don't think this tip is needed right now. There is WAY too much food in chests to have no food.

If bad comes to worst, maybe you can find a cake on the map (like I know TSG2 and Destiny's Shiver have them on some windowsills).

You lose more hunger than gained if you eat rotten flesh and are poisoned so that would be pretty useless...
