Like the title says, Does anyone play MCSG with a controller?

I do. I don't know if that makes me a noob or what but I don't really care. The reason I use a controller is because I was soooo used to the the Minecraft Xbox 360 controls that I was too lazy to learn the keyboard and mouse for PC. If you were wondering, I use the Razer Sabertooth controller. I used to use just a regular Xbox controller but I made an upgrade to the Sabertooth back in July.

Nope, I tried playing Minecraft with a controller once, I just couldn't get used to it. Even when playing the Xbox version I sometimes have a hard time using the controller.

Didn't know that was possible....
It's actually extremely easy to set up. All I did was watch a few YouTube videos. The software needed is completely free too. (I probably sound like a spambot now)
Yup.

If you're used to the pc controls, stick with the PC controls :p

Seems like it'd be hard to hit your targets with a joystick

I can play with a controller, but I don't like it. Crafting is the biggest pain. And playing MCSG is even worse.

Yeah crafting used to take forever on my old controller but it's easy now with my new controller.

You get used to it after 8 months of playing :p

That's why I'm not going to be using one :p The PC game that I use a controller on is Trials Evolution as it's near impossible to control without a controller :p

What the difference from a normal xbox controller?
Anyways, I've tried setting it up using xpadder like this: left trigger left click, right trigger right, left stick looking around, right stick moving. X (or whatever the most down button is) is jumping, the one right to it is the inventory, left would be sneaking.
Is that a fine setup? Or how would you recommend it? I'm interested in how I would do, with my setup it's not that easy to turn and stuff.
