Help with Magic Launcher

I recently downloaded Magic Launcher for windows, to make it easier to install mods. Without and mods, I tried to Start my minecraft. As soon as I did it closed out of Magic Launcher and went to a "Log Screen" where it showed me stuff about my Java. Long story short, it didn't start my minecraft from Magic Launcher. So now I'm a mod-less broken man. Any suggestions?

This thread has every right to be here, and they deserve an answer.

As for the question at hand, make sure you have downloaded the mod correctly. Check that all the mods are compatible. Check that your Environment settings are set to 1.6.2. Be sure that all your mods are updated to the correct version of MC.

First of all, Optifine, shaders, and a few other mods are alright.

Allowed Mods list:

• Optifine
• Shaders Mod or "GLSL Shaders"
• Toomanyitems
• Armorstatus
• Directionhub
• Multiplayer profiles mod
• Macros Mod [only for staff since normal members can use it to break rules]
• Camera Studio
• Animated Players Mod

This list will update over time.

Any mods not posted on the mods list should be verified with staff before using.

And second, I don't know much about Magic Launcher so I'll just say this.

• Try reinstalling/updating Java
• Delete your 1.6.2 folder from versions, maybe something is up with your jar.

A similar kind of error happened to me while installing optifine for 1.6, i figured my jar was messed up. So i just deleted minecraft and re-downloaded the normal one, and installed optifine the normal way without magic launcher.

What do you mean by "Preferably not usable"? Nobody cares if people use those mods. Nobody says you can't use the ones on the list. That's why they're on the list. It doesn't say, "Mods that you can use, but we prefer you not."

Us, legitimate players, don't like it when people have advantages, Including fps boosters. It's just an opinion. Don't like it, ignore it.

Us "legitimate players" don't care about those mods because all they do is boost FPS. The mods on that list are there because they do not affect gameplay in any significant manner.

As for that matter, make sure all your mods are up to date. Check that they are compatible with the program. Make sure your environment is set to 1.6.2. Be sure that the check box labeled "active" is selected. That's about all I can think of.

I never intended as coming off as rude I was only stating an opinion. You didn't take it lightly and made a big deal about. Again, I have no reason to PM you because I was just stating my own opinion in which, I'm entitled to. If I came across as rude, I apologize. No hard feelings.
