Although my MCSG story is far from over, I'd like to share everything I've gone through so far: I've tried my best to include everyone! I'm so sorry if I've left you out.
I first discovered minecraft about six months ago when my two younger cousins brought their laptop to Colorado during a family ski trip. After a long day of skiing I sat down and finally let my cousins show me something that they had been dying to show me; minecraft. The game automatically appealed to be because of my love of building things and soon after they had finished playing I picked up the laptop and began my very first survival world. A Few weeks after, my cousins convinced me to make my own account so I saved up some money and bought my Lemonz87 account.
After about a week of playing survival worlds by myself, I started getting bored of the game and stopped playing for what I thought would be forever. What brought me back to the game was my discovery of MCSG.
The way I discovered MCSG was through a famous youtuber that I am sure you have all heard of, Joey Graceffa. My friend Allison was a huge Joey fan and whenever I went over to her house, we would spend hours watching his videos. Thanks to her I have seen almost every video that Joey has ever made. Once she finished dragging me through every video on his main channel, we discovered his gaming channel, where I got my first glimpse of MCSG. Therefore, although she will never see this, I need to thank Allison for showing me MCSG.
Eventually, I found my way onto my first ever MCSG game. When I first started playing I had no friends, no connections, and absolutely no PVP skill. I was the worlds biggest noob for what seemed like forever but I eventually earned my first win on Breeze Island all by myself.
Although it took quite some time, I eventually started to gain some more wins and started to form alliances with anyone who was willing to team with me. Although I was enjoying myself on the servers, I was starting to get bored with the game and once again I almost stopped playing minecraft all together.
The main reason that I stayed was because I met one of the best friends I've made on MCSG, his minecraft name is Killerkons. I met him one day while playing on EU22 and he was nice enough to introduce me to a few others who also consistently played on the server. He has been such an amazing friend (#Dreamteam, love you <3) and he is also the only reason I ever got good at PVP. He always used to crush me when fighting but I'm happy to say that we are now very even although he will forever say that he is better. (Last time we officially 1v1ed, I won) But anyways... I downloaded Skype and with my new group of friends I spent the next month in a group known by many as the "EU22ers" (Omg... so many memories) The EU22ers: Killerkons, Enderking79, Kingofthewaffle, tttt9er, TrackieT, FRUITSNACKS12, Rising_Spirit, Brycealex, Jasondebaxter, MahxiXBL, Zehoyya22, Draco_Inferus, Cupcake144, Hailey_Fadden, Mickeylag. Lets just say that we were quite the team...
I spent the next month or so playing everyday on EU22 and soon I was nearing my 200th win; that's when I saw my first ever moderator. The first moderator I saw in game was Philly67 ( I didn't even know that moderators existed until I saw the fancy red name ) I immediately became interested in moderator myself but I was never actually serious about applying until the day came where I came across my first hacker. The hacker killed our entire team and the next day I checked the Help Wanted thread on the forums.
Mickey and I talked about applying for a long time and eventually he submitted his first application. Meanwhile, I was too nervous to apply, thinking that there was no possible way I could become MCSG Staff. This is when I met the two people that I have to thank for me becoming a moderator, Edtheg and Builda_Br3tt. I met both of them randomly in game when we decided to truce and soon we started skyping and became really great friends. I told both of them about hoping to become a moderator and with their support I finally wrote my moderator application. I played with both of them all the time while my mod app sat in pending and when it was moved into the interview stage both Ed and Brett had to calm me down because I was so nervous for my interview. Thankfully, with both of them helping me, I was able to have a successful interview and become a moderator. Thanks guys <3
I remember sitting in the waiting room for hours on end, staying up until 1am to wait for the senior staff to finally come on. I would have had my interview on the first day that I waited but instead, I called Mickey to tell him to get into the waiting room so he could get his interview as well. But it turns out, that as soon as Mickey was finished with his interview and accepted, the Sr. Staff decided to take a break which resulted in me waiting an extra week for my interview. (So therefore, Mickey has been a mod for a week longer than I have and he will forever hold this over my head)
Becoming an MCSG moderator is probably the best decision I have made in my life, I absolutely love being a member of the staff team and I especially love all of the people that I have met!
Once I became a moderator, I spent many hours a day on teamspeak where I have met so many amazing people, I can try to name them all but there are just so many: Adragonfire9, Aerunner, AkFortyseven12, DQIX1, Jess123259, MattMazin_, MKFarrell, Mman1234fcn83i, Sayfisac, Sixzoseven, Sumbodee, TheTrisaratops, XNexer, yingyang01, levi_the_potato, RyanChandler22, etc.
Also, thanks to teamspeak I met Fisheer and Noahsailer. Playing with these two has really made me realize how truly horrible I am at PVP. (Thanks guys <3) I was feeling pretty good about my PVP skills until these two came along... Although they typically kick my butt im happy to say that one time I did own Fisheer with a sword and I have taken Noah twice in fair 1v1s Skype calls with these guys are some of the best calls I have ever been in and I always end up with a sore throat from laughing so much and a headache from listening to them sing country music the entire time (Don't ask) Although Fisheer constantly has to remind me that I am a noob and Noah feels the need to bounty ridiculous amounts of points on me when I have nothing in games, both of these guys are so much fun to hang out with- love you guys <3
And... of course I need to mention Mickey, aka. Mickeylag one last time since he has been the best friend that I have made throughout my time on MCSG. I've known him since the very beginning, we became mods together, and he is great to hang out with. Not to mention that he lives about 20 min away from me Irl One day I will probably run into him at the mall and it will be the most awkward moment of both of our lives- cant wait! love you Mickey <3

Being a 15 year old girl in high school, you can just imagine the amount of crap I put up with for playing video games, especially minecraft... Somehow, I have managed to keep the fact of my involvement in the MCSG community to a minimum over the last six months. At first I planned on telling no one about playing but when I didn't hang out with my best friends 24/7 anymore they knew something was up... So I told them about my involvement in the minecraft community- they all laughed like crazy and each day they make fun of me for playing... Usually I can just tell myself that they are just joking around but I know that they honestly think the whole thing is really lame... Sometimes it can really put me down on myself- So this all leads up to the last person that I need to thank... Who is my best friend Liz, aka. Purple_Unicorn98. I need to thank her for giving me a chance. Although all of my other friends think I am a total nerd Liz actually let me show her what exactly I do in minecraft and it turned out that she really loved playing as well! Now we talk even more and we have so many inside jokes Liz you have no idea how much I appreciate you giving me a chance and how happy I am that you love playing the game almost as much as I do! Love you girl!!! <3 Thank you

If you honestly read that entire thing then I give you a huge congratulations! I am sorry if I didn't mention you in my story, I tried my very best, but as you know... I have a terrible memory...
So now here I am, 341 wins later, 1997 games played later, 3166 kills later, after spending 1w5d14h49m49s playing MCSG... But... my MCSG is far from over love you guys <3
