I believe that Static Nightmare has joined team Variede, I'm not 100 percent sure whether he will still build maps for MCSG, Since he has given permission and helped build the renovated Breeze Island with Team Variede. The source is the Hive forums on the front page where they announced Breeze Island 2.

I don't know if he actually has joined Variede. I assume since he couldn't get BI2 on these servers, he tried it on the Hive and it got accepted. No harm, no foul.

I personally enjoy Breeze Island 2. It's a major improvement over the first.
