However, yes, it is flat, I recommend you find some way to fix that.

The map looks very raw at this stage, and very dull due to WorldPainter. I think you should get some voxelsniper and get the land to be a bit more interesting.

Also, what's the corn supposed to represent?

The flatland will be filled with structures, and not everything is representing Colorado. The name of the map is Indie Games so everything had a twist and new things are there. Not everything is Colorado related just the storyline is

This looks like it was made with World Painter.
Upon reading the comments, I can pretty much confirm that it was. It looks very smooth and plain. The terraforming in general seems inconsistent.
