This is a strategy that is probably used by a decent amount of players, including myself (though I'm not the best at MCSG); but I'll explain it to people who don't know what it is.
There will be occasionally be the instance where your armour and weapons aren't that good, compared to another player who has full iron and a good sword (iron/diamond). If you were to follow this player without them noticing you, you can catch them off-guard and potentially kill them, if they are under certain conditions. I call this strategy 'The Assassination Method'.
If you came across a group of players with good loot, watch them closely. If they aren't a team and end up fighting each other, stay close by, you can choose a few different ways to kill the armoured player(s). You can jump in late in the fight, when you feel that both players are at low health, this gives you a health advantage, especially if the group ignores you and continues to fight each other. Or you wait until the fight ends, when one of the players die, you can catch the other by surprise when they check their inventory and what the other person dropped.
If you attempt this, make sure you have a sword and/or flint and steel. Make sure you have health regen and high health to begin with.
I hope you found this helpful.![Smile :) :)](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
