We could also place a betting cap based on rank/game wins/etc.
Also, we could make it a random percentage of return, e.g. since it's betting you aren't guaranteed to get 125% back, rather you could actually split the percentage between the winner and you.

As with it being said, we could disable betting at a player limit, e.g. when there are 5 players left, no one can bet anymore. Thanks for all the interest.

I have no clue if I'm the onlyone but I totally disagree:

The betting system would decrease the value of Points even more and if someone bet 10k on Elgoldo while he has full iron and diamond sword...
You made an easy 2.5k
What I want to say is that you dont even have to play to increase you points, if you try to increase them with playing your way slower than with betting.
Ofc you dont get the wins etc but still I'm 99% sure there will be some guys who will just join server where his friend is playing, betting on him, earning really much points and then joining another server and everything repeats from here.

Tl;Dr: This would be used to farm points really quickly without any work --> Points would lose more value
