Why did they remove my enchanting table?

So yeah, map 1 now isn't quite as fun because they hid (or removed, don't know yet) the enchantment table in the lava room. It is still there on the 48 size games, but why take it out in the first place? It was dangerous to get to and barely used, but still killed plenty who tried making the game go faster. This wasn't overpowered at all either, and never once have I seen someone drop enchanted gear. The only safe way to do it was to ender pearl over and back, but now I need 4 pearls to ensure maximum safety and I still don't know what the reward is now.

So MCSG... WHERE'S MY ENCHANTING TABLE?

(if someone has managed to pull both of the levers they added and received the reward of Fluctus or whatever it was, please let me know if it's worth it)

The fluctus gift is worth it. It gives a protection 2 + respiration 2 chain helm

Boat was definittly overpowered. And the enchanting table being gone isn't a huge deal, but it makes the games seem like they have a lot less of a goal for me.

I would always mob hunt for exp and pearls so that I could gain an edge when I finally made it to the table. It's the same idea with breeding and gathering wolves. That way the dang teams that take the corn and just sit in it have something to fear. Enchant to win.

Yeah, I do kind of miss Enchantment table. It actually seemed fine how it was, it would be very difficult to get to it, and you had a good chance of dying. Why they removed it I really can't explain. They probably felt it was OP'd.

My friend showed me it once, its in a cave, you break a piece of cobble and quickly right click to get it.
Exact location? Not sure.. but if I see the cave I'll know where it is.

yeah getting iron sword with sharpness was just as good or better then a diamond sword i think
