((OOC: Since I've been getting a lot of quizzical looks on my Minecraft IGN, AlgerWaterlow, I've decided to randomly post a short history of Alger Waterlow, the respected and princely, yet feared, Demon King. ))
Alger once was the loyal husband of Queen Hanalea of the Fellsian Queendom. They ruled a land now far distant both geographically and chronologically. One day, a young man named Kinley Bayar lusted after the young queen Hanalea, and sensing his motivations Hanalea warned Alger and together they fled to their fortress in the mountains. There they hid until the Bayar family, who had many magical allies at the time for they were themselves wizards, assaulted the fortress and Alger, who was in his 20s at the time, was captured.
No one ever knew what happened to him 3 months later when he mysteriously disappeared from his prison bonds and fled the countryside. Some say Queen Hanalea, who was granted amnesty for being "possessed" by the Demon King, sent her love away so he wouldn't come to harm. Others still say that Alger simply wished to be rid of the awful tortures of the Bayar dungeons. In any case, Alger to this day travels around the land known as Minecraftia, outside the Seven Realms, seeking new possibilities and always remembering his dearly beloved Queen Hanalea and wishing just once he could see her again. But alas, all things must come to an end and all ends must lead somewhere. Here is the alternative ending of the Seven Realms saga by Cinda Williams Chima, brought about by my own wishful thinking. I had a Queen Hanalea in my life once. I carry the Waterlow dynasty blood with pride and joyous exultation.
