How Do I Get A New Minecraft.jar? (Re-asked)

Sorry, I was only re-asking because I didn't get the answer I needed on the previous thread.

Now, I have done everything you guys have said, and for some raisin, I am not getting a bin folder. I've completely wiped minecrap from my computer, and reinstalled it many times, and I've used the magic launcher as well.
I don't know what the heck I'm doing, but I feel like if I try something else I might make it worse.

Go to versions in your .minecraft and the minecraft new jar should be in 1.6.2

The new launcher now loads all your jars from .minecraft/versions/ leaving the bin folder untouched.

There should be a folder for each version of minecraft you downloaded on the new launcher. So if you want a new 1.6.2 jar, delete the folder called 1.6.2. and relaunch minecraft with a profile that uses 1.6.2.

Thank you, it finally worked. I really should have looked into this 1.6.2 thing before fiddling with mods and such.
