Alt accounts

Now i'm not too sure about all the rules of alt accounts. I know that:

Using an alt account to hack both accounts will be banned
Using an alt after being banned


I want to know the complete rules on alt accounts, are we allowed to use an alt account just for a different identity? If there is no hacking involved are alt accounts allowed?

I just want to be sure of the rules of alt accounts so I don't break them

I think they're allowed, many people has switched accounts. As long as none of them has any mcsg bans you should be fine

You can use an alt account if NONE of your other accounts are banned. If you do get banned on your alt, you cannot switch and play on your main account, because this makes your main account an alt account. I really think that's it, you can play on another account if none of your other accounts are banned, and you can't play on your main if your alt is banned. If i missed something, please correct me.

Ah ok, but what about using alt accounts for voting for a certain map, sponsoring yourself or to find out where people are. Are any of those allowed?

Well what happened was that I had an alt which was my bounty bank, I had given the account to a friend for no real reason actually. We had a really massive blow up and she went and downloaded obvious hacks as in derp, sprinting on the spot etc. Got the account banned for a week which she knew would make me lose my bounty (8000) I only found out it was banned when it had 2 days left of the ban.

Im pretty sure they might make an exception if you dont own it anymore, but if its still your account... you shouldnt be playing on an alt while that ban is in place, its your responsibility to keep your accounts from other people
