Lumber (WIP)

Hey guys this is the latest map i'm working on its called Lumber. Its a forest map that has an extremely unique natural border.
SCREENIES!

small cottage

swirly forest :3

huge volcano=huge reward=huge bloodbath

Ain't nobody gettin out of dat!

lake with a gravel beach! (only water body in the map apart from the river that leads to it) and its got heaps of structures in it

Custom trees

Gravel Cornucopia (not finished needs the slabs all they way around the edges and needs podiums (waiting for single player commands)

actual size of the volcano (better view)

a hilly forest section of the map

a castle i made on a flat world that i'm going to put in



I will add MOAR screenshots soon, i have only done the terrain on worldpainter and that's it.
i'm just waiting for spc to update. *.*

thanks i have not done anything accept world painter and the house so far, so yeah you can expect some more stuff like ruins.

Why do people like world painter so much? Worldpainter makes terraforming super easy, but in the long run it's not worth it, in the end you have map that looks very unnatural and too smooth, plus scaling world painter mountains is a pain. I hope you can incorporate some voxelsniper into this, but as of right now it's a no.

i actually thought you were joking! i'm waiting for world edit to update so don't worry about that at all i have done literally nothing in minecraft except put the house there

as for you this map is kind of the opposite of open it has (like the title suggests) lots of wood and trees everywhere the only open spaces are for where i'm going to build stuff

i would love to but i can't host a server and i live in australia where the time zone is like the opposite but yer....

If that cliff is the edge your map it looks very escapable.

its a massive ravine......... its not escapeable

I've worked with world painter and made cliffs just like that and let me tell you, there pretty freakin' escapable.
You'd be better of making a dome or hollow cylinder in world edit.
