I can't take this lag. Please help.

I have a horrible mac laptop and I don't lag THAT bad, try turning your render distance WAYYYY down?

I am able to render fine. That has never been the problem. It is when I go into hub servers I lag like crazy.

I actually lag a lot in Hub servers too, but once I join a server, it all goes away.

Could you maybe do a speedtest (http://www.speedtest.net/) and tell me your average fps in game? I'll be able to at least figure out if the problem is on your side or server side. I personally don't have that great internet but I don't lag that much in the hub.

Hmm, well your internet speed is much better than mine. Do you only get lag when near the signs or everywhere in the hub? I lag a ton (connection lag, not fps ) when I'm trying to join a game, but if I'm just running around the main part of the hub from island to island its not that bad. Whats your average fps while in the hub/in game?

I am getting tons of lag in the hub. I'm not blaming mcsg, but it is really frustrating. I love the game way too much and want to play it. I understand there are a couple servers open to join by ip, but I can only find some on the EU servers. Are there some for the US servers? It is really irritating me because I can't play the game. I love mcsg. You guys are doing a great job, but if there is no fix to the hub, I really wish you would go back to the ips.

I get around 100 fps. It is just when everyone freezes. Then they will start moving for a second. Then they will freeze again.
