Why was PMC shutdown?

Why were the PMC servers shutdown? They were my favorite servers.

But I enjoyed playing on the maps and on the servers, and the contest ended a long time ago, but they were closed today. Are they using the servers for other means or what? I was curious.

No. They just haven't closed them until now.

That's exactly what I said.... "The contest ended a long time ago" Which it did, "but they were closed today" meaning they didnt close them until now.

Oh I apologize for being rude, and for raging about this. But those were my friends and my own favorite servers. They didn't fill so fast that i could always get in, the people were nice, I won a lot and knew the maps, and I loved the maps in general. Just annoyed, but I guess they had to close them, idk why though.
