Okay so I've been seeing lots of threads recently about how "the staff aren't doing their jobs right" and "the staff are corrupt".

I just want to address these things in a simple manor.

1. Your just causing pointless drama

2. It's a videogame. Taking away your free will? Seriously?

3. They are just doing their jobs.

4. Most of the people complaining more than likely got their mod apps revoked and got angry.

So there you have it. Please don't make pointless threads. If you where on the staff team you would do the exact same.

On a serious note - thank you for posting this. We "aren't doing our jobs right" because the players were banned for violating our rules and/or harassing our staff. Seems legit, right?

This thread is honestly only going to be a hub for continuing the discussion, and causing more issues.

Additionally, assuming everyone is just "angry their mod apps got revoked" is comepltey irrelevant, and an inappropriate assumption.

People are allowed to have opinions, and express them as they choose, but its up to them whether, or not they do so, and face the consequence.

They're not all useless threads either. In comparison, they're simply asking a question, and you're telling them they don't have the right so to do.

Making pointless threads about "pointless threads" is well, pointless.

(And of course, I respect the staff for helping in bettering our community, for the most part. This post is mostly just regarding the points that you made)

I appreciate the staff greatly for what they do. They give loads of their free time just to make other people's gaming experiences better. That's about as good as you can be. The only problem I really ever had with the staff is how some in the past have deleted threads if they don't agree with people. Very few staff members do this, but when they do it's upsetting.

This is the kind of thing.
If one misunderstanding mod locks a thread and forgets to say why , or just isn't bothered , or is just being mean decides to lock a thread without a given reason , why blame the entire staff team and start a massive argument. To be honest the best thing to do is just try and contact a Sr.Mod or Community Manager or any high ranked player PRIVATELY if you have an issue. Announcing it and causing more trouble then needs be is just pointless , as is this pointless thread apparently but actually , I have made some points so therefore it aint pointless.

Unless taken too far there shouldn't be too much drama from complaints and suggestions.

2. It's a videogame: Taking away your free will? Seriously?:
It may be a video game, but it has a huge community, some people want to understand what's happening and make suggestions. Some of these may have to do with staff issues. Sometimes it's taken too far, but having suggestions to make this game better is the ultimate goal of everyone.

As already stated, I respect that the staff takes many hours out of their lives to help MCSG, even balancing staff duties with IRL duties. I greatly respect that

Never have applied for mod, never will. If I did apply I know I would get denied anyways. I accept that.

TL;DR while we may not see eye to eye, everyone just wants the best for the community, some take it more passive-aggresivly than others.
