Ok, when this thread gets locked or deleted for no VALID reason, I am making a partition to remove all mods, and start apps again.

Some mods are good. Some of them aren't... This seems like a bad idea.

I wrote this before Bic responded. However, I think it's still remains true.

As a Moderator, I feel as though I need to respond to this thread. However, this is a real hard-ball for me, for a couple of reasons. One, Creepy_Crawler was my first MCSG friend; we go way back to the early days of MCSG. I can safely say I know him, after Skyping with him/TeamSpeak-ing with him for over 10 months now. Second, I’m a real fan of Philly. He is a mature, capable, generous, delightful human being--if anything he should be the Staff Member handling Creepy right now.


Now, knowing Creepy_Crawler I’m sure he [Bic] had more of a reason for demoting Philly then “people felt uncomfortable around a 24 year old (even him).” His reasons? I don’t know, but I know I’m not a supporter of them. Yet, I’m sure some other Senior Staff had a say in this. (Or at least I hope they do when demoting Mods)
I'm Sure Bic has his reasons.


Note, I’m not defending Creepy, I’m just trying to think openly here so that others won’t go off and attack Creepy/Philly. We have to handle this delicately.


Creepy is a joker. He’s a funny guy, I’ll give him that. However, I’m not sure he entirely understands that text is very blunt. What I think happened (and this is still immature) is he that he wanted to make a joke, and what he did. Yes, what Creepy_Crawler is wrong, and I’m thinking he shouldn’t be a Staff member.



Before I end this rebuddle one more thing. Creepy_Crawler doesn’t use the forums at ALL. So if a Staff Member deleted it (and it wasn’t Creepy), don’t they have their reasons? I agree this can’t be overlooked with over 100 signatures. Even without, Philly can’t be demoted without a good reason.

In order to reduce the drama that this situation has caused, would you mind telling us the facts (if, of course you can do so without violating Philly's privacy). If we do not know exactly what happened, then all the bits and pieces of what we DO know will grow into something potentially quite different from reality, creating large amounts of drama and community ill will towards the staff. A steady flow of information does much better to diminish these negative factors than the deletion of threads and short, unhelpful responses.

No offense Arena, I like you as a person and all, but I think it should be locked, because it's going to create more drama if we don't and that is not necessary as I'm sure you know.
