Question about new update this weekend

I understand you will now lose points for leaving the game but is that for if your in combat or if you leave at any time cause sometimes I got to go all the sudden and I dont want to lose precious points. Also my game and computer crashes often so will I lose points from that?

I've never crashed anytime at all on SG, i've never really had lag so I don't know how it feels when peoplez say stuff like that.

There is no option for 0. I have died from bugs which are going to be fixed in the next server update, or in 1.3 *cough*stupid drowning bug*cough*, but never from leaving a game. I think that there will be a "tag" system, in which the player that logs out must have been hit within the last minute in order to lose points. Very similar to a "PVP LOGGER" in pvp servers. Also, the team won't change the rules just because someone's computer crashes often. What is the message on screen when your minecraft crashes? "Out of memory"? Because you can give your minecraft more memory if wanted. Google it.
Also, you should play the server closest to where you live. That might fix some lag issues.

Alexdude729, the system only penalizes you if you were attacked by another player. If you D/C due to crash or other reasons and you were not hit by the player, no bounty will be deducted from your score.
