MCSG - Server lag?

So today I discovered that there is a lot of server lag, At first, I thought it was my internet connection, but it turns out is isn't. It's been happening to a lot of people recently. I wish to know if this will be fixed soon, or if its just a phase the server go through when they are updated. I do live in the US so I play on the US Servers. Any advice on this topic will be much appreciated.

Are you sure it is MCSG server-side? Check a couple of other servers if you haven't already, and check your FPS (using F3 or Ctrl+F3/Fraps). Especially if you are using a laptop, the new update may have affected the Frames Per Second of Minecraft. If so, this link might help you: Click Me . Otherwise, I don't know what to tell you.

Yeah, I understand that, but I just thought that it was possible that he mistook FPS lag for server lag, because I know that the FPS lag has been an issue with the update, so I thought that it could be that instead. Also, I forgot to mention that in the hub, hiding players might help reduce the lag, but clearly that won't work in game.

I don't mean the fps, it's fine in my game, only thing is the server lag, where people freeze, and server activity stops suddenly. Also, I am using a pc, not a laptop. (Mac mini)
