Favorite minecraft update so far

I was board so I decided, why not get a bit of discussion going, with the awesome people from MCSG? so I came up with a question and now im going to ask it.
What has been your favourite update or feature that has been added to Minecraft since you first started playing and why?
Was it the adventure update back in beta?1.0 with the End and Minecraft being finally classified as "finished"?
The spooky update? The Redstone update? Maybe even one of the secret Friday updates from long ago?

Minecraft Beta 1.7.3. I loved the lighting back then. I like spamming my bow. I liked waking with a zombie or skeleton spawning to scare the hell out of you. Ahh the old days

yeah...that was pretty sweet.

The days before creative when me and my friends had to use TooManyItems on my server to get items... Also, there was no such thing as flying and we didnt install fly-mods, so we tended to fall fown from high spots all the time and die. Had so much fun back then!
