Breeze Island Glitch?

So I've been on the receiving end of this a few times, although I haven't experienced it on my side until today.

This, eh... glitch? Basically, it entails taking a significant amount of damage (almost half health) from a person's fist. I've been punched in the water before and have had this done to me, although today, I played a game on Breeze Island, climbed up the vines next to spawn after looting the corn, and went to punch a few people off the edge. I 2 or 3 shotted 3 different people doing this - with my fist.

I'm not really sure what triggers this glitch or anything, but it has major potential to be abused if someone figures out the trigger(s?). I've also noticed that I've only experienced this on Breeze, and as soon as I switched to a weapon the major damage dealing was gone. Maybe it's not exclusive to Breeze, and maybe I've just only noticed it on Breeze since that's really the only map where people hit each other with their fists at spawn...

Has anyone else either been on the giving or taking end of this glitch?

That's happend to me. I don't really know, but your most likely right with "A glitch" Also, I've punched my friend, you know, we foul around, he had full health, and in 2 hits he died (Luckily he wasn't mad ) But yes, I do get this glitch, and hopefully they'll fix it soon. -Henryp909

That might have something to do with the half-a-heart glitch...

This is not only related to Breeze Island. I just experienced it on Treacherous Heights (against me).

I have never been on this receiving end of it but I have been able to do it 3 times.

Perhaps they had previously taken damage from fall or another weapon.

im not sure because the only times it has happened to me is when I get punched a lot off spawn and then I turn around and decide to punch back and they die in 2 or 3 hits

No I'm positive that's not it. Plus, I have been on the receiving end as well.
