Minecraft text glitching in 1.6.1?

Recently I've been having problems with my Minecraft text being really glitchy. Anyone else getting this?

Go to defalt, switch to it and then exit minecraft and re-open minercraft and switch to the texture pack you use.
I have this happen to me as well, but thats how to fix it.​

For me, I had to switch to default first. Then downgrade to 1.5.2 thenopen the game, close it, then go back to 1.6.1/1.6.2 and then switch back to what looks like faithful.

I had a similar problem, looks like others have already posted answers, but I thought I would add mine too. I switch to default 'resource pack', close minecraft, log out (in the launcher), then log back in and play. That seems to work every time this happens.

Yes, this has happened a lot. Return to the default resource pack, then restart your launcher. Once restarted, select the pack you were having trouble with. That should fix your problem.
