Hey everyone! So, many people have been disliking the new 1.6 update (I'm fine with it, I just hate the sprinting glitch.) and the majority of them don't really know how to downgrade, but I am here to tell dem nubs how to downgrade! :p

1. Open the new launcher.
2. Go into the 'Profile Editor' tab at the top.
3. Double click the first one and click 'Use version'
4. Put the version you'd like on and you should be set!

(You could also use MVC, also known as the Minecraft Version Changer to change your version and it should appear in the 'Use version' section once more and it should be named 'release MVC'

Any questions or concerns? Message me! :)

How do you downgrade to lower versions than 1.5? I need 1.2.5 for a certain mod but I can't figure out how to downgrade it with the launcher.

Use MVC, it is a free program that changes your Minecraft to any version, including the Alpha and Beta versions. After changing to the version that you wanted, go to the profile editor tab of the new launcher and press "Use Version" and there should be an option that says Version MVC. :)

Thanks but I already found a way around it. I used a 1.2.5 jar in a new .minecraft folder which I named .minecraft1.2.5 and then ran it with magiclauncher to avoid the new launcher re-downloading any versions. Thanks anyway. :)
