Last year (eighth grade), I had an amazing English teacher named Mr. Whitehurst. He's a pretty hardcore Christian and stays true to his beliefs.
So I was very shocked when I saw some article about his oldest daughter having sex with a 16 year old, and even having a baby with him. Apparently she had sexual relations with another student prior to this as well.
I feel bad for the student(s), of course, but I feel especially bad for Mr. Whitehurst. We would discuss how he was going to be a grandfather, what gender it would be, etc.
It's just strange to me how things in my town make it to the front page of MSN
So, friends, what are your thoughts?
