Cannot connect to MCSG servers.

I have been able to play in the MCSG servers until the new 1.6 update for minecraft. I have tried many of the things suggested including the DNS suggestion. I have redownloaded minecraft in attempts to fix this but it didn't work... I tried all other MCSG servers but they all say "Cannot connect to server" If it helps I run on windows 7.

I hope I can find out what's wrong soon >.<

Is it in the server list or are you actually connecting to the servers?

If it's the first one, then it's perfectly fine. It's just a bug. Try connecting to them, you should be able to join the server.

Unusual. I dont think this is an MCSG issue. people have seen the Communication Error but thats it. If all fails, downgrade your MC to 1.5.2. If you can connent then, Its 1.6 issue. If you cant connect even then, its on the client side.

Well the "can't reach server" thing is a bug, so I don't know if you're actually having connection problems.

It might just be minecraft, but I'd suggest you check this:

I actually just tried this a couple of seconds ago! I thought it would work too... but no luck :/

Maybe it's just your internet? Also, it's a bug where it says it's off and you should join just fine. Perhaps the MCSG are down at the time? I think it's your internet. Do you server lag when you join games? that means it could possibly be your internet. Sorry if it doesn't work, there's nothing I can do, as Pixelatorx2 has said.

At first I thought it was my internet too! But it never lagged before in 1.5.2... unless it was demon's breeze with all that lava >.<

The Demon's Breeze lag was just because of the sounds. I recommend getting a new sound card. Sorry I couldn't help!
