I have seen too many people complaining about bugs and other issues about the 1.6 Update. So here's the thread with it all in one!
Bugs-
There currently are a lot of bugs with the 1.6 update. Here is a list of a few and some fixes.
1. The half a heart bug. You don't actually have half a heart. the next time you take any sort of damage you'll go back to full hearts but -the amount of damage you took. Currently dev's are working to fix this. FIXED
2. The lag. Lag us currently not their fault. Everything Mojang related is experiencing some lag. and since OptiFine wont be out for some time (its 17% completed) Play on tiny. Its not the end of the world. Usually lag only happens in lobby then comes fine in game. Search this on google to find some fixes for SOME lag " How to allocate more ram to Minecraft 1.6.1 " - note. Do NOT allocate more ram then your computer holds. You may crash your system(I am not responsible for anything that may or may not happen).
3. Sprint lag. This issue isn't MCSG's fault. This happens on all Minecraft Multi-player servers. Even servers with out bukkit.
4.When on your multi player main screen, when you look at any MCSG server it may come up with communication error. This isnt true. You can still connect fine. Just join the server.
5. Maps that have Minecarts, may cause the server to crash after they begin. MCSG coders have found the issue and are working on it as you read this
6. Boat bug. This is a bug where you can enter a boat but you cannot exit the boat. I do now know if its a MCSG bug or a Mojang bug. You cant even break it when you hit land! But when it does break, it drops nothing.
If you find any new bugs please post it below. It will be added to the list.
No-No's-
Here is the section of what NOT to post anywhere on the MCSG website, unless its a new bug or critical issue that hasn't been posted about yet.
1. Do not spam any threads or forums with "WHY DO I HAVE HALF A HEART?" or any bugs above, we know of the bug(s).
2. Also spamming our servers with 'y do i hav haf a hart?" or any bug, It gets annoying. Realize that its not only you. How many others do you see spamming that?
3. posting pointless threads about bugs like the ones above, will just be locked. Stop wasting peoples time.
If you find another No-No that I should add, post a comment on it.
1.6.1 News!-
1.6.1 has a lot of bugs but don't let some bugs get in your way! New maps in 1.6.1 will be great! with the addition of hardened clay, maps will look much better! no more boring stone and wool! Now the thing that I have been waiting for since 1.2.5...... HORSES!! Yes! Horses are now in Minecraft! But, MCSG will not have Horses in their games. It kinda breaks the game you know. But horses aren't good part! MCSG has some updates they've boon holding for some time and! Since there are bugs, when the servers close down for bug fixes they can include the updates they wanna roll out too! This means you will have MUCH less down time!
If you think anything needs to be added here tell me and I will change it! I hope this helps anyone who was wondering about anything above.
