okay I can't guarantee this will fix all the lag but it works pretty smooth for me first download this Resource Pack and install it and you should be all good and it only effects lava you can still turn down your sound if you so desire but this helps over turning your sound down 'cause with this you can still hear everything else like footsteps eating chests ect ect ect
---How to Install---
1# Download said Resource Pack
2# press the windows start button
3# type in %appdata% and hit enter it should take you the roaming folder
4# find and double click the .minecraft folder and open said Resource Pack with winrar 7zin or whatever program you use and drag the lava and lavapop sounds into \assets\sound\liquid
---Download---

I believe you could just mute the volume when playing in demons's breeze? It removes the FPS lag when running around the lava areas.

yes you could but with this you can still hear the thunder and hurt sounds or any other sound and it makes it so you can still hear footsteps if you need too or a chest or eating

I'd prefer just turning the sound off, much more easier.
