I'm wondering if there is any tutorial (video) for chest route on different maps

The best way to get a chest route is go a random way, find as many chests as possible, do that for a couple games on that same map, after a while you will realize the easier ones to get to and the most valuable (tier 2's). That's how most of us do it, You can also find out from a friend, spectate a pro or watch people's gameplays because you will see their route in them.

Tier 1 has things like:

Wooden axe
Wooden sword
Stone axe
Stone sword
Iron ingot
Gold ingot
Non cooked food
Leather armor
Fishing rods
Bows
etc.


Tier 2 has things like:

Stone Swords
Iron ingots
Gold ingots
Diamonds
Gold armor
Chain armor
Iron armor
Bows
Cooked food
Golden apples


Having Chain/gold/iron armor is extremely important, so at least 1 or 2 tier 2's on a route is a must. They are more rare and harder to find, if for say you saw a huge parkour course or a big mountain, there are high chances there is a tier 2 at the top. Things like that give it away.

Well some of them are on the forums as in the community maps where you can just look around for or you could download this mod called world downloader and all you have to do is press a button and it starts downloading the map you are on.

An axe is does the same damage as a sword of the tier below it.
Example: Stone axe does same damage as wood sword
Diamond axe does same as iron sword
