So many people are having issues with 1.6. I'm afraid I am going to have to buy a new computer

Well I have been searching for hours and not even the devs can fix this one

Okay so Im not a computer genius or anything but Im going to tell you what I would do.
So first I would uninstall anything related to minecraft, Optifine, texture packs, shaders etc. I would then proceed to download minecraft again from minecraft.net. And see if that works, If not have your parents help you. I don't believe its your CPU at all, I think its just 1.6 and its bugginess. Because you were running MC perfectly fine before 1.6.

I downgraded to 1.5.2 and it seems to work fine. I think this may be a problem between java, the launcher and my computer
