seeing the image more in deep, you can see your Skype conversation . but try the steps I gaved you.
install java: http://www.java.com/en/download/faq/java_mac.xml
for real install it, in the white screen with all of the words it says there is a problems or something with java. probably you don't have it installed because as far as i know macs any longer come with java.
Haha. I tried installing it again and it was in fact the same one I tried earlier this morning. It still doesn't work. I also tried Forairan 's suggestions but they didn't work either. Re-installed everything restarted everything and yet no result. The only difference is my error messages change when I moved my MC to my applications folder.

Yes, you could also run it on Mac all you have to do is re-install Java. Atleast.. that's what the error report says. (Apologize if I'm wrong)

You do not need the new launcher to play minecraft. Mojang simply released the launcher as a new thing. And about java, if you already do not have 64 bit I suggest downloading it. It really helps your performance and you can do a couple more features in minecraft with it :) Hope this helps.

Alright well it turns out I have a 64 bit computer. I deleted my MC in my library folder downloaded java and installed it, moved my MC launcher to my applications and still, nothing works.

Try going to System Preferences, clicking Security & Privacy, then under "Allow applications downloaded from...", choose "Anywhere".

EDIT: Also, drag the Minecraft.app out of the DMG into your Applications folder! It probably won't function properly in the DMG file.
I tried this but I can't find Security and Privacy I found security and I don't see "Allow applications downloaded from..." Could you post a screenshot of this? So I can see what I need to do.

Or A video that explains it. Cause I've tried to do it but... When I try to log in the application doesn't show in the Dock. It is invisible. then when I think it starts to work the whole thing quits on me
