1.6 update help

Optifine will probably only help at a very small level if at all. Since most of the lag issues are coming from the code in itself, they probably will not be fixed with optifine. I am pretty sure the client side lag issues will be fixed within the next update if we send enough hate-mail to Mojang...

I understand what your saying but I enjoy hopping onto mcsg and playing some rounds before going to work etc.. Its impossible to do now since I have no optafine on the new version which makes playing on my laptop absoluetly horrendous. I know its not your fault, but basically my iron donor means nothing at the moment if I cannot play any games on the servers. I'm sure when Optafine comes out it will be fine again, but right now donor is useless to me and probably lots of other people with crappy computer or laptops that get lag from the regular minecraft w/o optafine settings turned down etc.

And tbh I am new here so I dont know all the in's and out's of "updates" so please excuse me.

All I know is that I paid for donor and starting today its pointless if I cannot play the game because of a new update and since optafine isn't out yet with a new upgrade

Usually the first update after the main update usually only takes a couple of days after the onslaught of bug reports. I have a feeling that at least the lag issue will be fixed within the next 3-7 days. So yeah, don't fret and wait patiently.

Its easy for you to say wait patiently, but my donor time is still runing out as we speak while there are problems with the servers.

Well maybe deal with the lag like the rest of us? Or/and just donate again after it runs out if you can

Exactly so wait at least 7 days. Meanwhile your lucky that your actually getting 7 days extra. like it says in the agreement of when you bought the Donor, MCSG has all rights to take the Donor from you with NO refund. Your lucky you get 7 days extra. When I was donor, MCSG was down for a day. What did I do? spam fourms about how i'm mad and I want my Donor back? No. I sat it out like most Donors did and like most Donors are doing.
