1.6 update help

Hello I had Minecraft 1.5.2 and now I downloaded the 1.6 update. But When I login with my magiclauncher to use optafine when playing, it still brings me to the 1.5.2 version instead of the 1.6 if I had logged in with the regular launcher.

Do I need to update optafine too? I updated magic launcher to the newest version but still not bringing me to the minecraft 1.6 version. What am I doing wrong?

I'm guessing Magic Launcher hasn't updated to 1.6 yet. Just use the normal 1.6 client and install Optifine on it. Probably causing this problem because Mojang made a new launcher and stuff, but I'm not really sure (sorry if I'm in-correct.)

I found out the problem, switched the location to the 1.6 jar.

I still need optafine 1.6 update mod tho, anyone know where I can download it so its compatable with the new version?

1.6 just came out today, so optifine won't be ready for a while.

Well since i wont beable to play at all, I want my donor money back or atleast get compensated for the time untill all these crap glitches that are happening in the game.

Half a heart and I cant even sprint at all.

Ridiculous. Should have waited a while untill the bugs were figured out instead of jumping right into 1.6

Half a heart: known bug, you don't have half a heart, your client is reading the health incorrectly.
Buggy sprint: This is Mojang's issue, not ours.
Lag: This is Mojang's issue, not ours.

We don't wait for "bugs to be fixed" because regardless of whether or not it has bugs, everyone updates when a new Minecraft update comes out. We can't do anything about Mojang's semi-buggy update, and you probably won't be compensated for the time that Mojang is having issues for that same reason.

To add on this, it always takes a few days for OptiFine to update with every Minecraft update.
