Internal exception, please help

Why i tried to join the server, i got an error looking like this:
Internal exception: java.io.IOException: Recieved string length longer than maximum allowed (277 > 256)

I also have this sometimes today, i think its minecraft side not server side, try to restart your minecraft and just use direct connect . this works fine for me
