If you're leaving simply off the fact you got denied for moderator, then, that's very sad.

Yeah. Cause they're only human and make mistakes too. It's not like they intentionally ban people, there'd be no point to that, since if the community found out, well, there'd be no community left. You gotta use dat mind, son.

Also with your other point about being active to get moderator, are you assuming that every active person would make a good moderator, just cause they're here on the forums?

You really shouldn't go because you feel the staff isn't doing their jobs correctly. It's been a crazy month for the staff and MCSG, so a lot of things have been out of wack.

The staff is honestly out of your control, so no matter how bad you might think it is, you just have to ignore. MCSG is about having fun playing the game, not worrying about the decisions of staff. Unless it concerns you being banned, it isn't stopping you from playing.

Just put up a wall, ignore it, and have fun playing MCSG, without worrying about the decisions of others.

Regardless, it's your decision to leave, and I respect that.

Well actually I prefer helping people, not just playing the game, and I respect what staff members do, but there are just too many mistakes..

Sad to see the next nice player go :c especially you :C i like to play and skype with you, i remember the time where we meet us on tsg2 i was lagging and thought you are hacking because i ve never lagged before it was server side and i said you are hacking then you told me you dont and i believed you and we become "mcsg - friends"

i really agree with the thing with the moderators this makes me so damn angry. also you cant become mod because you have been banned?, also if it was an unfair / fail ban?, really staff?, really? but ok these are the rules i know them, i love mcsg that why i cant leave it this community especially the forums are to amazing theres no better community ive seen.
And i also agree with the point why the hell gets someone with 0 messages on the forums mod?, ok if they ARE very DAMN active with programming or on ts ok thats a reason, but if they arent active and theve just written a good app? thats stupid to accept them. and in my own opinion they also need forum experience to join stuff the forum is a big great part of mcsg, and someone gets mod if he dont know them?, i think thats not that good. there are sooooo many people who can be great mods and their apps were declined like my :c ok my one was to short, and i am workin on a new one, but thats not the point. BTW. i think there are also some mods who get acceptet who are new, whats if they thionk goood people are hacking?, and they ban them?, then they cant become mod without a reason, just because there was a noob mod?, thats a bad rule , but these are the rules and i accept them^^ and they are working this is a great community and i hope it wont change.

So as some of you already heard, I'm leaving MCSG.
-The main reason is staff.. The staff members in my opinion aren't active enough on the servers and there are a lot of hackers, which seriously ruins the game and make it impossible to win, without super luck. (I'm talking about EU servers).
-Staff are banning good players for no good reasons.
-SrStaff and Administrators accept people as a moderator, even if they have 0 posts and 0 likes, and the only thing they done was, register on forums and apply as a moderator. And of course, Sr.Staff don't care if you are active or no. I've experienced this myself... There we're 3 people with 0 posts and 0 likes accepted as a moderator, when I was in the waiting room and waiting to be accepted. And of course now the same persons now have only 7 posts and they don't know how to comment.. The thing I'm trying to say is, staff don't care if your active or not before your a moderator, and the most active members such as HalfSquirrel don't get any advantage to get accepted (because they're active), usually they don't get accepted.
TheHive and TheFridge accepts people if they are active, which in my opinion is the best idea.

So yeah, I'm switching to Hive or TheFridge, but I'll still be on the forums and sometimes on servers, but most likely not.

Staff members are active but also have lives outside of MCSG. Some of them are not active on the Forums because they can't be, like Wooders who has connection problems when using the forums. There will be hackers. There's no way to get rid of all of them. We are trying our best to remove them, but a great way to help out with that is to install teamspeak, and poke a mod when you've seen a hacker, as they will come right away. Also, the Sr. Staff do care if you are active when it comes to new moderators, on the servers. They prefer that you are active on the Forums, but there's no rule saying that you have to be previously active on the forums when getting Moderator. Also keep in mind that a lot of people become active on the forums after becoming moderator.

I can't believe I read all of that...
I'm sure we will play a couple of games. (I was never banned tho).
I can't believe 2 persons actually agree with me.. I certanly will play MCSG, because the gameplay is just amazing, but not so much. (You deserve mod)

I'm sorry I just wanted to correct your opinion on that thought, I was of those three people, and I happened to have over 850 posts plus around 600 likes. Mod #2 had about 50-70 posts, Mod#3 happened to be the only one with 0 likes and 0 posts.

So you actually think I'm a noob, never reported a hacker? I think you don't know, but I usually report at least 2 hackers per day.. sometimes even 5 or more.. Please don't teach me how to report a hacker actually what to do, I'm usually the one helping people with these questions via conversations or Chad's wall.
Continuin, I never said the Moderators are unactive, I said the people who get moderator at the begining are unactive, I won't say the name, but he (hes actually my friend) recently got moderator, and he has 0 posts 0 likes. I was helping him with a moderator appilication, basically I pretty much writed it for him, and he was of course accepted, when I was declined. And as I am aware of Sr.Staff don't care if you have a YouTube channel and daily report hackers, they don't care, but that's the most important thing. And believe me Sr.Staff don't look at your posts on forums when it comes to interview, you just get accepted or declined, no matter how active you are, which is the problem.
And you said "but there's no rule saying that you have to be previously active on the forums when getting Moderator" yes, but if you don't have any experiences posting/moderating/helping people, then you simply don't deserve moderator. I know a moderator who doesn't know how to comment posts on profiles.
This is all my opinion, but most of it a fact.
