I doubt it. This has happened before. Regardless, they will just use Weep Craft, which is just another form of nodus...

It was stated by the developer himself as opposed to last time it happened. I also said that it'll cut down hackers but not remove them altogether, there are still quite a lot of clients and mods around, but the main one which I can safely bet 60% of hackers use will be gone.

Yeah, I know it was the dev, but they'll just get a new one. I can prolly say with 100% surety that there will be nodus for 1.6...

Reguardless there are other hacking/griefing clients such as Xenon, that will continue to make hackers do what they want, it's just that nodus has been around forever and people recognize it quickly. I'm sure someone else will step up to the plate and create one of these terrible clients. You cannot do anything to stop it, but that is why we have wonderful mods!

Wether there are other forms of Nodus or not, still one of them is gone, thats a good thing! Lets freaking enjoy this small step at least!

That's really nice and all, but I thought the maker of Nodus said it would stop being made after the 1.5 update, but since then I've seen 5x the hackers.

This is another issue MCSG will run into and will have to face. I just looked up on YouTube (Greifing/hacking minecraft clients) There are so many! I could be here for weeks! Just because nodus shuts down, the hackers will not. As long as staff continues doing what they are doing, and players continue reporting, we should be even greater than the mind of the hacker!

Yes, but at least we can stop a few, maybe be even one but it will sill make a difference.
