i couldn't care for the leaderboards because i know i'm no good, so this would give me another way fo enjoying the games after i've died and if it uses my points, i couldn't care less... ^_^

All the points are going to be reset after the beta ends anyways. Plus Chad said in the next version that points aren't going to determine your position on the leaderboards.

Most of what you said is already added into the system. We are working on getting a test build tonight on the servers as we rushed these new features in.
