Here is one I heard a while ago:

Two men are standing in a castle owned by one of them. The owner shows the other man a collection of swords: a shortsword, a katana, a cutlass, a shiv, and a scimitar. The swords are displayed on a wall between two fully-armed suits of armor. "Pick any one you like," the owner said. "But I must tell you, only one of them is real..." "They are fake?" the visitor replied. "Have you ever heard the phrase: 'A true warrior always keeps his blade in hand'?" Suppose the visitor wanted the real sword, which one should he choose?

First think of the person who lives in disguise,
who deals in secrets and tells naught but lies.
Next tell me what's always the last thing to mend,
the middle of the middle and end of the end?
Finally give me the sound often heard
during the search for a hard-to-find word.
Now string them together, and answer me this,
what creature would you be unwilling to kiss?

The suits of armor are holding the real sword.

Two fathers and two sons go fishing. They each catch one fish, yet they arrive home with a total of three fish. How is this possible? (They didn't throw away any fish or anything along those lines)

Note, the spaces make a new riddle.

What has roots as nobody sees,
Is taller than trees,
Up, up it goes
And yet never grows?
Voiceless it cries,
Wingless flutters,
Toothless bites,
Mouthless mutters.

It cannot be seen, cannot be felt,
Cannot be heard, cannot be smelt.
It lies behind stars and under hills,
And empty holes it fills.
It comes first and follows after,
Ends life, kills laughter.

Alive without breath,
As cold as death;
Never thirsty, ever drinking,
All in mail never clinking.

This thing all things devours:
Birds, beasts, trees, flowers;
Gnaws iron, bites steel;
Grinds hard stones to meal;
Slays king, ruins town
And beats high mountain down.

Thirty white horses on a red hill,
First they champ,
Then they stamp,
Then they stand still.

Thirty white horses on a red hill,
First they champ,
Then they stamp,
Then they stand still.
