Hypocrisy- In a public channel that anyone can join, cursing or breaking the rules may offend others and that is not allowed. If someone is in their own private channel where only people that they know or let in can join, no one is offended. If they are offended, they can leave the channel or request for everyone to go to a public channel. For example, if you are cursing in in-game 1, a random person who finds profanity offensive can come in and be offended. If you were in a locked channel created for you or in a locked channel with friends cursing, a random person who is offended by profanity can't just randomly join. To give you a real life situations, you can hold a gun around in your house alone and no one will feel threatened. If you go to a super market and hold a gun around, people are going to feel threatened and you will face consequences.
I've heard moderators and staff members swear in public channels. That logic just doesn't make any sense.

New, Younger Mods- The reason there are more younger mods is not because we want to manipulate people or trick them into doing what we want, it's because more younger people are applying... People wanted the age limit lowered, so we lowered them. Now that it's lowered, the people that wanted it lowered are going to apply for mod. If you expect an age limit being lowered will result in people of older age being hired, then you'd be incredibly wrong.
I guess I can't argue you with you there.

Playing God- SrStaff have the responsibilities they have because someone has to deal with those issues. We have responsibilities so things can get done and the community can function. If you feel a Sr.Mod is abusing their power, tell an Admin or higher. If you think an Admin is abusing their power, tell a community manager or higher. If you think a community manager is abusing their power, tell the owner. If your post has been deleted or moved and you want to know why, ask a srstaff in private and they will tell you why or find out the reason for you.
Do you know how hard it is to contact someone like a community manager or Chad? The one time I tried to contact Chad about an admin way back when it took me like 4 months, and that's when the servers weren't even that popular. Also, if a thread is deleted, how are you going to know what sr. mod to contact? It's not like all the sr. mods agreed on the deletion. No, if you delete a thread, you have the courtesy to contact someone. You don't have them run out and work just to figure out why.

Your interview: How an interview goes is there is a lead and the rest listen. After the interview, we all discuss what we think and deny or accept the applicant. During your interview, I was leading, so I was talking. The others were sitting and listening. Your interview went not as we would have liked but we decided to give you a shot at applying as we sensed you were nervous and the interview wasn't an accurate presentation of your personality. After, however, we had people reporting to us about you bad mouthing the people interviewing you. We checked and found out it was true. Sure you are allowed to express your opinion but disrespecting staff over a rumor that someone was sleeping during your interview showed immaturity and a trait that you are not one to look at both sides before judging. These are qualities that would not make a good staff member so you were denied. In addition to that, us hiring someone who bad mouths the staff would make the staff look bad and damage the trust between the community and the staff. If you would of expressed your opinions in a more appropriate way, for example, " I thought my interview went terrible and I think someone might of fallen asleep." you would of had another shot at an interview.
If someone private messages him asking how it went, you can't possibly get mad at him for replying with his opinions. That's just wrong. An admin shouldn't disguise himself just to do that. Instead of getting pissed off, you or any other person in the interview [you know? the guys sleeping] should talk it out with hawk instead of getting mad at him. If you talk it out you can explain what went wrong and everything will work out better.

I hope my responses help you on making judgement on future issues. Look at both sides of the argument and then make a judgement. If you only speak from one side, the argument is bias and invalid.
I have and I disagree.

We only remove direct attacks to the community from people whose goals are to destroy reputation for their own personal gain/agenda, not constructive criticism from our members directed in the goals to better our community. We haven't deleted anything with these posts recently and frankly I enjoy reading people's opinions about staff/community as a whole (good and bad). Helps us make better decisions in the long run and restructure if needed.
Sadly, "direct attacks to the community" for "their own personal gain/agenda" can be misconstrued to mean virtually anything. People who want to better the community can be mistaken as attacks, and then they would be put down and silenced. Thus angering other people who wanted to help who agreed with him. The snowball roles on.

That's when you report that staff member.

Just because someone doesn't reply doesn't mean they aren't dealing with it. Also if you ask a srstaff about your thread, they can ask other staff to find out the reason and tell you. If it was unfair, they're undelete it. That's what happened with your old school servers thread. You asked where it was and why and the staff members talked and tried to find out where it was and why.

If someone private messages him and he replies with that, we won't do anything because he is entitled to his own opinion and if he wants to privately discuss it with others(this goes back to my whole gun scenario), he can. The issue was he bad mouthed the staff in a public channel over a rumor that he didn't know was true or not. He did ask me why we denied him after the interview, and we told him why.

Like I said before, a staff member should have the nerve to contact the player stating why it was deleted. This would save players from having to post threads about it and this would save other staff members the burden of having to dig for it.

You told me I was denied because "My answers were too short and I was too cocky" later that same day Dave said I was denied because "I lacked confidence". Care to explain?

That I agree on. You should of been given a warn point a PM if the thread was inappropriate. But in the case that a thread was deleted and you have no idea why, you should contact the staff and we will try to find out why.

Am I allowed to post it publicly? I have nothing to hide.
