Hypocrisy- In a public channel that anyone can join, cursing or breaking the rules may offend others and that is not allowed. If someone is in their own private channel where only people that they know or let in can join, no one is offended. If they are offended, they can leave the channel or request for everyone to go to a public channel. For example, if you are cursing in in-game 1, a random person who finds profanity offensive can come in and be offended. If you were in a locked channel created for you or in a locked channel with friends cursing, a random person who is offended by profanity can't just randomly join. To give you a real life situations, you can hold a gun around in your house alone and no one will feel threatened. If you go to a super market and hold a gun around, people are going to feel threatened and you will face consequences.
New, Younger Mods- The reason there are more younger mods is not because we want to manipulate people or trick them into doing what we want, it's because more younger people are applying... People wanted the age limit lowered, so we lowered them. Now that it's lowered, the people that wanted it lowered are going to apply for mod. If you expect an age limit being lowered will result in people of older age being hired, then you'd be incredibly wrong.
Playing God- SrStaff have the responsibilities they have because someone has to deal with those issues. We have responsibilities so things can get done and the community can function. If you feel a Sr.Mod is abusing their power, tell an Admin or higher. If you think an Admin is abusing their power, tell a community manager or higher. If you think a community manager is abusing their power, tell the owner. If your post has been deleted or moved and you want to know why, ask a srstaff in private and they will tell you why or find out the reason for you.
Your interview: How an interview goes is there is a lead and the rest listen. After the interview, we all discuss what we think and deny or accept the applicant. During your interview, I was leading, so I was talking. The others were sitting and listening. Your interview went not as we would have liked but we decided to give you a shot at applying as we sensed you were nervous and the interview wasn't an accurate presentation of your personality. After, however, we had people reporting to us about you bad mouthing the people interviewing you. We checked and found out it was true. Sure you are allowed to express your opinion but disrespecting staff over a rumor that someone was sleeping during your interview showed immaturity and a trait that you are not one to look at both sides before judging. These are qualities that would not make a good staff member so you were denied. In addition to that, us hiring someone who bad mouths the staff would make the staff look bad and damage the trust between the community and the staff. If you would of expressed your opinions in a more appropriate way, for example, " I thought my interview went terrible and I think someone might of fallen asleep." you would of had another shot at an interview.
I hope my responses help you on making judgement on future issues. Look at both sides of the argument and then make a judgement. If you only speak from one side, the argument is bias and invalid.
