MCSG's Darkest Hours?

To be honest, you all are very lucky you have this great group of staff, because over on other forums you all would be warned multiple times and then banned for talking back to us or talking about things publicly that should only be discussed one on one with a staff member. (Bans, demotions etc..) Its really truly ridiculous.

Your just causing more drama with this thread and more unneeded hate towards the staff. What did you truly expect this thread to accomplish when you were typing it up? You should have sent a private message to one of the staff members if you wanted to talk about your demotion.

I'm going to stop you right there. The fact that many people feel the need to speak their minds and agree with this thread is evidence enough that many people disagree with the staff and their actions. I also find it peculiar that you said "us" in your thread as you're not a staff member. Aside from that though, This may cause drama but I, along with many others, feel that if people cannot speak their minds and do not say what they have to say, then this would be a much more miserable community. It is essential for staff to listen to the community and change, not doubt everything that is said and belittle everyone who speaks out to them. It's not ridiculous to speak opinions, the poster of this thread had even stated that this is simply an exchange of opinions and is not meant to degrade the staff in any way, he'll change any offensive terms, etc.

Because the majority isn't always right, and, on top of that, they don't know the entire situation.


To be blunt with you, the entire section regarding your side of your demotion should not have been included in this. (The first half is completely fine.) It's something you really should have discussed with the administrators, in private.

Like I said, I did discuss it with admins in private. I've received no response. However, multiple people have told me to remove it so I shall. Happy?

Unfortunately to say, you are. People believe that Just_Hellooo was demoted simply for speaking his mind, when this is extremely far from the truth.

I know that there must have been other reasons for that demotion. I never believed he was demoted only for that.

I'm sorry KRaidium but you can not say that, you are only a Moderator and you also would not be given or told the correct information about why someone got demoted... (Ask about previous Sr.Staff and you will get mixed answers) Also you can never say "Nobody" because you where not here from the start so you would not know if anyone one from the past was actually demoted for "speaking their mind" or anything related.

This isn't about Just Hello's demotion, I don't believe it was simply about speaking out against staff. There were many reasons.

I have removed my demotion appeal due to the request of a few people.

I did pm staff about it 3 days ago. It wasn't responded to.

he was demoted for going behind people's backs, swearing on evidence videos, /say abuse, etc. The list goes on, this was just the tip of the iceberg.

MCSG is under constant attack from people trying to damage our reputation for their personal gain. These people are willing to lie, talk out of context or push their own personal agenda(s). Trust me, I would love to post all of the issues we face in a homepage post but I don't want to go as low of the people starting it as flame wars are not the answer. Just understand, any decision we make pretty much is made to protect this community as a whole. As stated by some of the staff: "If I had a penny for everytime I saw people post 'MCSG is dead'..." (which ironically we actually gotten more popular than ever before and the trend hasn't stopped).

TLR: Any MC community has bumps in the road, but we have a team of people working hard to make sure things get fixed in the fairest possible way to better MCSG as a whole.

BTW, is this thread deleted? Nope...stop assume we ban people for their opinions as that is frankly false. We love and welcome constructive criticism from our members, we don't like flat out attacks to our thriving community.

Please, we don't want to argue with you anymore, but you still don't know some events that have happened. If you want to know more please pm yoshi like he asked, instead of replying to his comment with the same generic answer making it seem like you didn't even bother to read his post.

Actually, I have seen evidence for the majority of the reasons so I know for a fact that the correct information has been given out.

I have never, in all my time here (nearly a year), seen somebody demoted for speaking their mind in any situation.
