It's all very well saying fixitfixitfixit, but if the devs don't know what is causing it/how to prevent it, unless you have an insight into it, it's going to take a while for them to test what causes it, and fixes etc. As well as that, they are more focused on performance updates, such as the laggy AU and CA servers.

And I don't find it much of a problem, a minor annoyance and tactical option at most.

*sigh...
Fair enough on your first paragraph
But the thing about it not being a problem, no way.
I was fighting a guy this morning, he had full iron and an iron sword, I had a mix of iron and leather and a stone sword. I would have won the fight due to the fact that he was awful at PvP, but I ended up catching on fire and dying. Not fun.

Yeah, but when you use it to your advantage, it's fantabulous xP Although I do know what you mean.

First: i think invisible fire is funny, and you can hear it ( and see it in the night ), but i also think it should be fixed.

Second: learn how to program plugins and become Developer and fix it yourself if you cant wait. To be a developer is not always such as easy as it looks like, its very hard work, and they've to deal with MANY bugs / problems, and there is lots of work behind the mcsg server (-s), and i am sure that the Developers are trying to fix all the bugs they know, just be patient ;)

Not sure if i should post this here but, The fire is only invisible on half slabs.

I typically see this glitch occur when someone uses flint and steel on a half slab or stairs. Because of the odd block formation, the fire doesn't register properly and, while it's there, it's not visible as Minecraft hasn't added the ability to have fire register properly on half slabs and stairs.

I only see people use it on the corn chests most of the time to trick others to open them and get caught on fire.

If you have your audio up though, you should beable to hear the flames if you approach them.
