Minecraft 1.6

Will the servers be updating to this so that there are wild horses? I've just been wondering. -Operdasher

Horses will not be added to MCSG, it would just ruin the PvP. Though I'm sure they will update the servers to 1.6 once it is out but I do not think we will be seeing horses in MCSG.

This type of thread was in the Feature suggestions area on the forums. Sadly horses wont be added. It would be hard for the devs to add the horses on where they spawn and stuff. Also it increases your running speed.

Actually whether horses are added would be up to map devs (I believe) as if they wanted to, they could simply place saddled horses around the map, so that it would have them when the devs load the map to the servers. I would love horses, don't you want to joust? Plus it could make the time spent searching around large maps for the hiding noobs when you have great gear much easier.

What if say a map maker hid a horse spawn egg in a stove on a map?

I guess thats a very fun idea. But it gives them a speed boost as you know...Horses are faster then players

That's like saying boats are unfair. I mean, they give a massive advantage on water, and perhaps they could be nerfed to have a small amount of health so they could be easily killed.

i dont want to start a argument. Also MCSG Only has 3 plugins and we dont want to raise that amount with other 1.6 plugins to nerf horses

No horses?
