I know there may have been many threads about this but I still see many people doing this wrong.
1. Don't hold out your flint and steel so your opponent could see it because then they could predict your move.
2. Know where your opponent is so you can get a direct place, with this also only place it once because then you can use it a few more time if you miss.
3. Don't place it infront of you while running forwards, this will result in lighting yourself on fire. Place it behind you while running away or to the side of you, infont of your opponent while chasing them.
4. hold shift and light every chest you see on fire.. And don't forget too light half slabs and stairs for invis/phantom fire.... - jefeperro
