Point system

Ao how does the in game point system and leaderoard system work?
Yesterday I was at nearly 300 points.
Then earlier today I was down to 3 and am currently back up to 190.
What causes the points to be added or subtracted from your score?

No clue sorry
One time I killed a guy got 50 points, killed another got 4, then died, lost 1...
In total I lost 1 somehow, I went from 121 to 120

This is how the point system should work..
The current system makes points meaningless

Because necroing is against the rules. However, I do miss these times....back when points made sense....
