Poor Hit Detection?

Typically, I have okay points, around about the 1000 mark, on MCSG. Over the past few weeks however, in PVP combat, it seems that most of my hits don't register at all. I've gone down to around the 300 mark which for me is just awful, I've had between 800-1200 for a few months until this so it isn't normal. I keep dying because of this, and it's getting really annoying, I obviously don't expect to always win, but dying constantly it just stupid. There has been no change to my PC, which has always given me good FPS and still does, but only about 50% of my hits seem to land . Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if there are any solutions? Feedback would be greatly appreciated, Thanks.

I'm pretty sure its just lag. I had it for a little bit a few weeks ago, and I didn't win at all. It should fix in time, or its your internet having you go a little bit behind.

Thanks guys, I do have a pretty good connection, I lag sometimes but this is constant and very frustrating.

Yep, your client seems to be running smoothly, but the connection isn't; but here are a few tips to increase the performance to it's maximum:

• Close excess download/upload required programs. Force close processers such as Internet Browsers (loading webpages and especially watching videos cause download), Voice Servers (programs such as Skype, Teamspeak, Mumble and Raidcall are some examples), Online Games (obviously), and Updaters and active Installations.
• Connect towards your router via ethernet, if you don't have an ethernet cable (usually yellow or blue) you can usually purchase a short one for under $20. Try to not use wireless in anyway because this causes latency, which is the main cause of your problem.
• Use the best region suited to you. Currently the Minecraft Survival Games provide servers in the United States, Europe, Australia, Canada and Asia. In addition it might be useful to reply with your statistics from doing a speed test - the most widely known one is speedtest.net.
• Very unlikely, especially if you recieve very good speedtest results but in some cases internet connection is slowed by viruses and malware. Run a virus scan, a disk scan and a disk defrag (Google help for these if you believe this to be the problem). Your PC seems highly optimised in terms of non-connection so it's unlikely this is the issue.
• Like mentioned above, restart your router.

Keep in mind that the problem may not be on your side of the situation. Sometimes the servers themselves are processing too much information, datacenters tend to have problems and/or being 'attacked". Like mentioned above try and test each region and see which one is more easier to play on. Some regions tend to have their hiccups because I believe at the moment a few are hosted by different server providers, after a few days of testing each region you should be able to find a decent gameplay connection to play on.

I think it just depends on the day! I played this morning and it was totally perfect and I won both games I played with no problems. I have't really had time to change anything, so I think it just depends on the day haha!
