So here are the parts that i chose for a new computer that i might build over the summer:

Will this be able to run minecraft on max settings with shaders at 30+ fps? Also, if I can make anything cheaper please tell me. I want to try to make this under $600 if possible. I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

I don't think it could run 30+ but if I did it would be getting around 30 fps but it would be fast without

I know that a 650 TI can run Minecraft w/o texture packs at ~80-100fps on max settings... I'm not sure about shaders though. (You can probably run it with ~30fps NOT recording on low settings.) Also keep in mind that Minecraft is a game that also relies on your CPU quite a bit, and that lowish-end AMD one could set you back. Also note that I'm not a computer expert, but I know a few things. ;)

Good luck!

My head slowly turned to my side as I read. But I don't even know what I read

I honestly think that you did pretty good with your budget, but if you can, maybe save up a little bit more to get an i5-3570k CPU, and a 650TI Boost, or a 660TI GPU. This would also obviously involve choosing another motherboard for the 3570k. (It could run Shaders significantly better than what you currently have chosen.)

If you want to save $17, I would ignore the dvd drive, and use another computer to make a windows USB installer, Microsoft has a program that can do it for you, the computer you make it with just need a dvd drive to copy the files from the disk to the USB stick.

Also, if its just for minecraft, I would say faster ram will be more beneficial than more ram. So you might want to look into 4GB 1600MHz ram if that motherboard can use that speed.

I'm not to knowledgeable on AMD stuff so I can't help you here.

AMD is good, but not as good as Intel, so I would go for an Intel, to be more specific, an i5 - 3570k. Also to note is, not a lot of games support AMD.

Also, I would go for a Kingston HyperX 8GB RAM kit, is the same price as what you got, but a lot faster. Link

The power supply is too low. You'll be needing a 600W power supply, GPU's (graphic card) takes up a lot of W's (around 450W) and the i5 takes up around 77W, then you've also got to include the motherboard, DvD drive etc.

Here's a useful link for when choosing a graphics card: Link The GPU you chose is ok, but maybe try and get either a 660 or a 660ti. Both cards run all games on recommended settings, and if I can remember correctly, the 660 could run Battlefield 3 on Ultra settings with 48FPS or more depending on the set up of the other parts (CPU, RAM, motherboard)

So all together:
CPU: i5 - 3570k @3.4Ghz or more
RAM: Kingston HyperX 8GB kit @1660Mhz
GPU: 650 is ok, but a 660 or 660 ti is better
Power supply: 600W is a must!

Hope this helps :)

Edit: Motherboard: Link (Your motherboard doesn't support Intel, only AMD, this one supports Intel)
