Freezing Issue on MCSG Servers

Hello everyone, I am tbrewda36 and I donated to earn the Iron Sponsor status. Since donating, I have been unable to play many games due to this freezing glitch. This happens during the beginning of a round. I will be perfectly fine during the lobby but have extreme lag at the start of the game, to the point that I am unable to move and the screen freezes. This forces me to force quit Minecraft, losing points, wasting my time, and causing large amounts of frustration. The thing about all of this is, I do not experience this on any other servers. I am running Minecraft on a high specs computer, along with running OptiFine to try to reduce any other issues. Butifuldzastr and I(tbrewda36) have had this issue for about 2 weeks now. While it was not so bad at first, it has become a problem and has prohibited us from playing. I would like to know what the cause is, and how to fix it. I have tried to add more RAM but that was not helping. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Perhaps try running it with a completely vanilla copy of Minecraft. Check if it works without any modifications (namely OptiFine). I had that issue once as well. I re-downloaded Minecraft and (from what I remember) it worked fine afterwards.

Have you tried deleting your bin and then downloading a new one? That may help more, but probably not any different
It may be a problem with your Minecraft settings too, so try changing it to the best possible.

is this problem only with MCSG or your entire minecraft client in general?
because this might just be a problem with your computer.
try to turn down your graphics quality to fast, and yur render distance to short or even regular. the default render distance might be Far.
